The Accident and Emergency Department of Hi-Care General Hospital Ltd. is a 24-hour, full time section and it is the mirror of Hi-Care General Hospital Ltd. It offers the highest degree of commitment to delivering quality and efficient emergency care. Prompt and rapid response of our skilled medical personnel defines our Accident & Emergency Unit. This is where very critically ill and injured patients are received and managed.
This department is run by a dedicated team of health care professionals comprising of 11 Emergency Medical Officers and 21 nursing personnel (sisters/brothers/paramedic/aid nurse) along with 10 Patient Care Attendants (PCA) all of whom work round the clock. The unit is well equipped with 8 observation beds, 1 O.T./procedure room and all sorts of modern equipments for treating critical and trauma patients. Specialty rooms are maintained to handle cases of cardiovascular illness, trauma, orthopedic injuries and pediatric patients. Specially trained emergency nurses experienced in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) work side by side with our physicians. We have 4 ambulances out of which 2 are dedicated for cardiac patients.
